This is a simple side dish or starter that anyone can make.  Shishito peppers are these great little green chile peppers that are somewhat mild with the exception that about 1 in 10 are hot.  These peppers are great to served just blistered with a simple sauce.  In this case I used my

Judd's All Natural Black Garlic Miso Dressing/Marinade

 as the sauce and finished with a little fried garlic.  Some have said to pierce the skin of the pepper to allow the hot air to escape when cooking but I haven't felt that necessary in my experience cooking these peppers.

1/2 lb of shishito peppers

1/4 cup of Judd's all natural Miso and Black Garlic Dressing/Marinade

2 tbsp of fried garlic

2 tbsp of sesame oil

pinch of salt

In a very hot saute pan or wok add 2 tbsp of sesame oil. Place the peppers in the pan and cook the peppers for 1 to 2 minutes so there skin starts to blister and brown.  Then Add the Miso Dressing and cook for 1 minute.  Season with a pinch of salt and place into a serving dish.  Garnish with fried garlic and some lime wedges on the side.  Eat immediately and enjoy!
